Virgin Voyages Approach

Ahoy! Virgin Voyages is the only company that hires people with strong personalities! Tattoos on the body, non-standard hair color and even piercings are welcome. The company reimburses the costs of the consular fee, medical examination, security certificates, and also provides air travel to the place of boarding the ship, transfer, and hotel accommodation. The main feature of this company is admission only for passengers over the age of 18. The concept of space organization was developed by 10 architects who had not worked with ships before. The liners look like comfortable industrial-style hotels with large portholes and an abundance of chrome. There is no buffet and buffets, only restaurants with a variety of cuisine.

In 2016, a contract was signed with the Fincantieri shipyard (Italy) for the construction of 4 premium class liners equipped with the most modern Wartsila power plants.

• Virgin Voyages has three ships in the fleet, with one more on order, all with an expected capacity of approximately 2,700 passengers each. The first ship, Scarlet Lady, began sailing August 6, 2021 from Portsmouth with UK only itineraries. Scarlet Lady began operating from PortMiami in October 2021, sailing mainly four-to-five night cruises in the Caribbean.

In 2025 Virgin Voyages plans to launch a new ship named Brilliant Lady. When the ship is launched it will be the first and only cruise vessel in the Virgin Voyages fleet capable of traversing the Panama Canal, enabling access to the west coast of the USA and notably Alaska.
